: Scarborough Lumber, in Santa Cruz, carries the Weber Water Smoker, and they work great in the conditions that you describe. I live at 1950' in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and both of my Weber's hold temp great. I have used them in the rain in Vancove r, and Oregon and the sun in L.A. and the temp stays between 225 to 250 f. for hours. Great competion level cookers!

Thanks for the tip....also thanks to Jim for his pointer to Weber's ph#.

I'll cruise by on the way home from work. I rarely drive by or see
Scarborough Lumber though I certainly know of it. Those temps are the
magic range for superior smoking and the quality of the metal used by
Weber is an order of magnitude above the Brinkmann water units. Rust on
a Weber is a very rare thing in my experience.
