: This weekend I am planning on doing up a batch of ribs for our neighbors. The neighbor's wife will not eat bbq ribs, so I figured I would do some chicken breasts at the same time. I've read elsewhere on The Forum to soak chicken in Wishbone Italian dre ssing (thanks Mike Scrutchfield (sp?)), but I haven't seen anything about times. I know that I need to confirm doneness with a meat thermometer, but about how long would be a good start before I would start checking for doneness? I would also like to tha nk everyone that has posted to this board as I am now a bbq "god" in my friends and families eyes! Thanks Again! Tom.

Soak it for as long as you like. Overnight will work great! As far as
temperature goes, pull it when it gets to 140 degrees. Let it sit for
a few minutes wrapped in foil and it will cook another 10 degress or
so. If you cook it any hotter it will dry out real bad. Hope this
helps....
