You are very kind with your words! It was an honor to have you come
by and get to see the action first hand!

Wish you could have stuck around. That chicken entry you got to see
me prepare took second place overall, and I'm pleased to report back
to you I won my first "Overall Grand Championship" for the 1996
season! I can assure you it was real thrill to get the first one
under my belt. Even though this was not my first, it's still the
ultimate thrill to nail an "ove rall" and it's what keeps you coming
back for more! I guess I'm addicted.

Please keep up the good work you're doing on the KC Barbeque
Connection, It's my favorite web site. If you could just get KCBS
to give you the contest results from al l over the country on a weekly
basis it would really be of interest to me and many other contestants
who follow the circuit and keep track of the points standings for the
individual categories, the "overall" standings year to date, as well
a s the prestigeous "Rookie of the Year" standings. We now have to
wait as long as two months to get this info in the "Bullsheet", which
is really crazy in this new age of instant communications we've been
blessed with!

Thanks again and keep u p the good work!
