At the risk of pissing off any NB Bandera owners, my opinion is to
avoid it like the plague. Too light, too many air leaks and too much
trouble to maintain temperature. Even the NB Black Diamond or Hondo
are really made of too light of steel a
nd have their problems with air
leaks and temperature control also. If you are serious about your
bbq, and want an offset firebox pit, you should look at Klose pits.
It might cost you a little more money initially, but it can save you
mone
y in the long run. Inexpensive pits are not really better a
value.
