I agree with Bruce, get yourself a chimney starter $9-15 and use reqular charcol. Just a couple of sheets of newspaper and wait till all the coals are grey until putting the cooals in your cooker.
This will take 15-20 minutes. Once you start slow s
moking you can use your chimney to light your additional charcol as needed, eliminates any adders to you charcol.
