Rules of engagement in decending order at any contest location.
1. State, county, city or local laws apply to all. Duh.
2. The event rules as stated apply to teams and the attending public.
Some of these rules may be dictated by the event's insurance policy, as well as sponsorship requirements.
3. The sanctioning body rules apply only to the teams, judges, and reps. We should not push back on this chain of command for things like: offending displays, PI, and even "no advertising"* if previously stated.
*Call ahead, make sure. I am sure this is rare.
Even if we are the show, or part the show, we should
respect our host's conditions. Follow the money.
