My all time favorite way back when from Steppenwolf was the Pusher, another Hoyt Axton song if I remember correctly. I love Hoyt's ( an Oklahoma homeboy by the way ) music but I love his mama more. If not for her and Heartbreak Hotel, rock and roll wouldn't be what it is today.
