I've been asked by a contest orgainzer about payouts for their contest. I've suggested to him to have medals in place of ribbons. I've also suggested to him to pay out the top 3-5 places for the overall... I think they would like to pay the top 10 for each category, but am sure they are flexible with that.
for round numbers, this will be a $10k prize fund.
What would your ideal payouts look like, including how you would pay each category..
This is what I just came up with playing with some numbers. My thinking was if you were going to pay 5th opverall, it should be more money than 5th for a category...

- RGC $1000
- 3rd $500
- 4th $250
- 5th $150

- 1st $450
- 2nd $350
- 3rd $225
- 4th $150
- 5th $100
- 6-10th $50
