If I may tell a little story: I received a call that a team would be entering the LPQ. He is known to be a true stick burner. That being said I called each and every team to check to see if the smoker they were useing was aproved per our rules. I ask this cook what pit he would be useing and he said a Ole Hickory Pit. I said that wouuld be fine and ask him if he was going to practice as he hadnt cook on one before. He said no that any good pit master should be able to cook on anything presented to him. Well to shorthen this story he won the LPQ BBQ Championship. Who was this cook.....Johnny Trigg
