I would say your choice should come down what you like, and what you consider a good time. If you like to set a dial, fill a hopper, and wait, then a pellet cooker is a great choice. If you like to split wood, learn good heat management, and actually have a say in how your cooker cooks, then get a stick burner. there really is no "right" answer, except the one you come up with that fits your personal style of cooking.
