Riblets can be either the trimmings from the back ribs or spare ribs. Riblets contain a series of the individual rib bones from either area of the rib cage. Rib tips are the trimmings from the bottom of the spare rib section and contain cartalige with no actual rib bones. The brisket bone is also considered a rib trimming.

The third type of riblet is not actual rib. This type of riblet is harvested from the spine bones (vertabrae) which are commonly called button or feather bones. Another name for these riblets is button riblets.

As for ribbies, the only thing I can tell you about them is Hack Wilson holds the record for most ribbies in a season. I doubt if any will beat his record..........
