I looked very carefully at the Klose pits - great pits. In ended up with a Gator Pit, but I'm not trying to change your mind. However, on various forums, including Dave's, people always seem to wish they upgraded from 20" to 24" (or larger)for the horizontal. I did and I'm glad I did. Like the others said as well - a little more length. 24 x 48 sounds pretty sweet. Good luck with you choice.
