I have done these in the smoker in the past as a treat for the pups. Do not season them at all. I stacked them in the rib rack so they would stand up. When they were done, I put 2-3 of them in a quart freezer bag and doled them out that way. As I said, these were for the pups, and since they liked ice cubes so much, I took them straight out of the freezer for them.
