Sorry Rick that I did not get back with you. But those drop down walls that enclose the back of the trailer work fair. If we have the AC on and the door between the camper and kitchen it will cool it off some. But I would not get it for that use. The best thing they are for is keeping the bugs out. They usually have a roll up tent like window covering and we have rolled them up and it works great. The other factor is which way your wall is facing. If it is facing west, it is not worth the time to roll it down. It just will not keep the heat out. Matter of fact last year we did not use it once.
