The Stoker doesn't use the blower on a FE. The blower is for other types of pits. The Stoker controls the FE blower. It only comes on as needed. I am cooking a ham right now, and the unit is cycling on and off, not blowing continually. This saves fuel and keeps more smoke in the cooker.
