no joke. i don't think i ever told you about that experience. about 10-12 years ago people were saying ostrich was going to be a hot ticket item. i was going to raise them, then retail the specialty meat. an ad came up in the paper, and i bought an ostrich for around 50 bucks. i borrowed a horse trailer, and had to corral that bad boy in. scared the begesus out of me. i put a hood on him, so he was kicking at the wind :). straight to the locker, and the end of that idea.
