As suggested below. Just fill your WMS pan with sand 1/2 inch from the top, this leave room to catch grease, cover with two layers of HD Aluminium foil and your done. I have not changed the sand in over 5 years. If you change the sand regularly the sand wont turn to a very hard mass that will never come out, like mine. A friend of mine uses river rock from his land scaping and seem to work as good as sand.
