If I had a team named Throwdown BBQ, would you think that was a clever name, or would you think of Bobby Flay?
If a TV show is broadcast, and uses our name, would you think of the TV show when you see the name? or would you think that the team has used the name of the TV show? Would you wonder if the team had the name before the show came out?
I dont think we would have a leg to stand on in court, and I would not think it would get to that point.
My beef is that KCBS one of the sponsers, has with out permission, used a known team name with an outside source.
