Morning:

I have a number of large pits and own a car repair shop in Toronto Canada. I don't really have to but each year i sand and grind down my cookers then re-spray them flat black with 800F high temp paint to make them look like new. I buy my paint from a woodstove manufacturer just around the corner from me. I have never had a problem with the paint with the exception of the top of the firebox when it gets too hot , the paint will crack from time to time.
