Apology accepted. We try our best to follow the rules as you said 110%. In our training we were not told to take the chicken back and in the Rep manual it is not addressed. Yes we learned something as well. If this happens again the product and the napkin that it was tested with will be put in a zip lock bag and after the awards the cook will have the opportunity to see the chicken and the napkin. All this just goes to show that we can all learn something every day if we keep an open mind. I am sorry for your misfortune this past weekend. I know you will have better luck down the BBQ trail. Hope to see you at another contest we Rep. I WILL discuss with the Rep Chairman and if I can get a definitive answer as to what proper protocol is you can rest assured that Ronnie and I will follow it.
