Are you near the Quad Cities? About 35 years ago, my brothers and cousins and I wandered out of the woods by my grandparents' farm in Moline, Illinois with a 10 gallon bucket full of morels. And we didn't get them all. The farm's long gone, but according to Google satellite pics, the woods are still there. If the woods are there, the 'shrooms will be. Unfortunately, I won't be up there again until July.
