I've never measured any of this--it's all by eye/taste but here's the ingredients to my mom's mac salad. I've never found any better and everyone who's ever tried it has said the same thing.
1 lb Macaroni cooked al dente (spelling?)
Miracle Whip salad dressing--don't use mayo
Yellow Mustard (just enough to barely taste it--the end product shouldn't be really very yellow)
onion (1-2 slices of vidalia, diced)
The following should all be chopped to similar size
Tomatoes
green bell peppers
cucumber, peeled first
