Last year after the competition as others packed and left my buddy Kenny and I stayed and talked with folks but stayed at our campsite. Most teams all left and we were in the Perfect spot to watch the fireworks.
Kenny and I agreed that this was the best fireworks display we had ever seen. And we had the best Front Row seats possible. Plus we had cover, food and a cooler full of Pops.
I highly recommend staying another night to see the Fireworks and see the Gin Blossoms play after that.
My Pit Pirate BBQ team won't be there this year but wish all you fellas the best of luck.
The site is on Grass and we have had between 4" - 8" of rain here in Virginia in the last 48 hours. Heads up.
