Sure was a great day in the boat today. I'm almost 53 and been fishing for most of them and caught my first paddle fish today. It was about 30 pounds. Went snagging by lock and dam #2 at Hastings catching HUGE carp and then the paddle fish....what a critter. Thay are protected here in MN so a few cell phone pics and back in the drink it went. Tok a good 1/2 hour to bring it in, loads of fun. Bet it would have been good brined and smoked??
