I used dry ice where I used to work with candy...We shipped all parcels with dry ice and shipped it 2 day express delivery....We also spec'd out our polystyrene to hold a certain temp....
Gel packs will be OK, but will not keep it as cold for the lenght of time....
So my advise...use dry ice and a foam cooler....pay to have it shipped express via just a regular ground shipping.
