I am cooking for a tapas party this weekend and one of the items I'll be doing are stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. This traditional tapas dish is very rich due to the honey and/or brown sugar that it is cooking in. So, I was thinking the other day about pig candy and thought to myself "why not do the dates in the same fashion?" So, I think I will. Have any of you ever done this? Or, made the dates as described?
