I have no bone to pick here, but if a rub, sauce ect. is advertised as "award winning" and you use it in competition and do not win an award then the stuff was not award winning and maybe you should be compensated by the purvayer. First let me say I make my own rub. I bring this up because over the years there have been a gozillion rubs, sauces, etc. sold like this. With the amount of new folks competing each year there should be some form of policing the market place. Maybe the bbq sanctioning folks could step in and help. If a team spends $500 to compete and the rub advertised as award winning does not win then I think the rub seller should compensate me because it did not perform as advertised. What do ya'll think?
