I use all sorts of things to light my chimney: turkey fryer, side-burner, camping stove, newspaper, firestarter, propane torch. They all work, but i find myself using the newspaper most often.
Oddly enough, I typically need the extra 20 minutes or so to get my other stuff prepared and ready.
