The subject sums it all up. Even after one contest I've got my parents talked into buying a pellet smoker; however, they wouldn't go for the FE (all in due time my friends).
We did some research on Sunday and found a series of postings on BBQBrethren that talked about Country Smokers and Traegers. Posters there tended to agree that Country Smokers were way better if you could not afford an FE and that Traegers can jam from time to time. Anyone want to weigh in on this issue? Or perhaps you want to be even more generous and sell your FE. Or even better yet, perhaps you know where to find a used FE for cheap (1,000-1,500).
