Okay, I know this post could look like some kind of joke after my Field of Wet Dreams comment earlier, but honestly I thought I had everything I could possibly need to endure the rain at a contest (please skip the "yeah, you've got a trailer" comments). Turns out that I'm lacking in the shoe department.
What is the best rain footwear out there? I have a pair of calf high rubber boots, but I don't think their the best option. At Shannon, I could have worn some sort of rain/water resistant footwear for the better part of two days. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but twelve hours at a time with some gap in between. And it wasn't just water, it was muddy in my spot.
