First off I guess I really don't understand what using a pellet cooker has to do with having a level playing field. Taste wise they are at a disadvantage.

Secondly, why is it that there is all the bashing of pellet cookers but no one mentions the use of guru's and stokers which in fact give a charcoal/wood pit the same "advantages" of a pellet cooker...

It's easy to bash something without giving any foundation, let's see if you can back it up now.
