I understand what you are saying about the Jack and the many celebrity judges. I know for a fact in the past some of the judges have gone through the KCBS class the day before the contest and the Jack is the first and probably only contest they will ever judge. But still, the Jack is looked upon as a sort of World Championship. Why? I guess there are many different explanations.
