A Big YO to all, You folks missed a good contest this weekend in Windsor. There was $4,000 in prize money and only 15 teams competing. Although this was the fourth year for the contest, this was the first time the contest was sanctioned by the KCBS.
The organizer did everything he could to check on the teams and make sure they had anything they needed. You were allowed to set up where you pleased, either on the street by the town square or in a vacant grass lot between two houses under big shade trees. This contest had a small town and back yard feel to it. Please keep this contest in mind for next year. On with the results:

There are two other notes about this contest I would like to mention. All of the judges were CBJs. The cook's meeting was held inside the local bank, where the turn-ins were. This was the second time I drank beer in a bank. The first time was several years ago when I applied for a car loan. I wonder if that had anything to do with I was turned down.........
Beers to my dad! I sure wish he had been with us today. My brother and sons still feel that he was.
