Congrats to the Shigs, Dallas and especially my daughter. When it was determined that we needed three more teams to qualify, she was drafted (at the last minute) into cooking her very first competition and with some mentoring from Stefan, Todd and Jeff, she took 3rd overall with a 6th in chicken, a 3rd in ribs and a 3rd in brisket! She did all of this on a WSM. I was proud to see her step up and take on such a monumental task and even prouder when they started calling out her name at the awards. Thanks guys, you are champs!
