Man, that Hurricane was a BIG ONE.
Not only wiped Crystal Beach and most of Bolivar off the map,
Galveston Causeway Bridge is cracked, near martial law
In effect on all of Galveston Island.

Houston got 100MPH winds sustaining for 20 hours.
Trees down every third street, no power to 2-1/2 million homes,
and still off I might add. Working the internet off my generator right now.
Sure nice to see neighbors helping each other with spare supplies,
As no gasoline or stores open for 3 days.

Few gas stations opened this morning and the lines are long.
Power should be on in our homes tomorrow. No damage to my house.
Had Mom and the sisters-kids over for 5 days, as I had all the
Camping and BBQ Cook off equipment, and a ton of extension cords.

Klose Pits Factory had a few trees down, but no damage.
We will be open Wednesday morning bright and early.
Thanks to all the people who checked in with us. We really appreciate it.
Looks like back to business as usual Wednesday.
