Arlie, I hope you're right - and I hope that at some point, someone will come to their senses and realize that running this gig like a garage-based, buddy-developed software startup is insane.

BTW, we've got all the skills and people necessary to do this right, so that we can take the BBQ tradition and make it sustainable.

I love what we do, and I think it's valuable - I just hate seeing the people-based buffoonery winning just 'cause of self-induced rules, regulations, and processes.

Let's bring the value of cooking wonderful things, under field conditions (while still setting judges back on their heels with our WOW factor!!) back into focus. What we do rocks - what do we need to do to remind our BOD of that important fact?
