You might want to do a little figgerin on how much 12 volt power it takes to run a 3000 watt inverter. If you hook it to the rv battery it should be close to the battery or you need some pretty good wires to connect it with. If you are going to run it on separate battieries you need to get everything balanced right to get much run time.
