Non-BBQ Posts

I have a friendly request. It would be great if when posting here, non-BBQ related posts had something along the lines of "NBR" (not BBQ related) in the subject of the post (that is, if you absolutely can't contain yourself and must post it).

Most of us probably don't care that someone had mac and cheese for lunch (unless it's done on a smoker and is a legitimate Anything Butt entry) or that they're using garlic salt on Iowa's roads.

Most of us also get tired of seeing "Hey (insert name here), how are you today?", or "Hey (insert name here), we'll be in (insert place here) this weekend." For the rest of us, it's not our problem that you don't have your buddy's personal email address handy. And enough with the pinging already.

I'm a die hard football fan but I don't come here to hear you complain about your team.

And "What would you do?" posts are a pain in the butt when the subject has nothing to do with BBQ.

Please save others the time and hassle and indicate when the post has nothing to do with how to BBQ (or questions about how to BBQ), BBQ organizations, contests and equipment.

And when someone asks a legitimate BBQ question, if all you have is criticism for the fact that it was asked, how about not responding at all.
