Well, like they say watch out what you wish for you just may get it.
5 or 6 years ago everyone here wanted bbq contest to be like NASCAR big money, big contest, big sponsors and big fame. Well, seems like it is starting to head that way which is good for a handful of teams. Problem I see is that for the 98% of the rest of us it only means higher cost more restrictions from organizers and the KCBS. The ever increasing fees are one of the things that have forced me to cut down on contest....
