The wife suprised me with an early BDay gift, an Ultra Sear Grill. Decided I would whip up a Steakhouse Diner:
Home made Anchovey Lovers Caesar(a whole tin of anchoveys blended in)
Home made Potatos Au Gratin
Strip Steaks crusted in Sea Salt and Black Pepper, seared on my new Infrared Grill. (wish they were about a half inch thicker)
Paired with a nice Artisanal Merlot from a winery we enjoyed while out in CA's Southern Wine District last spring.
Finally quenched my craving for a good steak char'ed the way I like it.
Only thing missing is a 2 inch thick slice of New York Cheese Cake.
