I've been researching smokers for a while. there are almost too many choices. I'm looking at the Klose, Peoria custom cooker, the Good one. I'm having a difficult time finding information regarding the thickness of the steel. THe Klose and Peoria pits are made from 1/4 steel, the Good one is from 11-13gauge steel. I want a pit that I can pass down to my Grand kids. Will the smokers made out of lighter steel like the Good one cook as well and last?
