I'd like to throw Del King's name in for consideration on this list.
Del has, to the best of my knowledge, been more responsible for more "BBQ for our Troops" events than anyone. He lives in California, but has organized events in Texas (next one is March 27th feeding 12,000) and as far east as Camp Lejuene NC. (next one is July 2nd). More Importantly he has influenced other people to organize these BBQ Tributes for our Soldiers. Ohio has had 13 BBQ's and Kentcky has had multiple BBQ's directly associated to Del's influence. Many People through the years have worked Operation BBQ, but Del tirelessly continues on. I think he is a great example of the type of people we BBQ'ers are.
