Business Partner or NOT?

Just looking for some advice from those that have been there, as well as those who are considering going there.

I have been catering for some time now and am considering opening a permanent location. It may be a small take out only, or it may be slightly larger with seating to 35 - 50. Biggest hurdle to overcome at this point is startup capital. I would like to do this all on my own but am facing the fact that it would be much easier to look for a business partner.

Pros: shared costs, someone to work the other 100 hours in the week. 2 heads are better than one(sometimes) etc. etc. etc.

Cons: clashing of ideas and directions, sharing profits(if any), power struggles, etc. etc. etc.

What do you do in your business, and what are you thinking of doing in your business?

Thanks
