The quality is still good, but the menu is different and not as good. For instance, they used to have menudo made with dry chiles that were soaked then the pulp scraped and used instead of the dry Gebhardts that most restaurants use. Other authentic dishes are also gone. The changes were made over time to respond to the changing clientle, meaning more touristas than locals. I'm glad Mi Tierra at the market has not succumbed to this. Anyway, if you want to eat where the locals go try Panchito's. The head bellman at the Mansion on the River turned me on to it. He and his friends have been going there all their lives. It's north of downtown but not far. Muy Bueno y Buen Provecho.
