I've had mine for probably 3 years too. Got a refurbished one from the guy who used to be a forum sponsor for about half the price of new. Never had any other sealer, so I have nothing to compare it to. I do like the bags they sell better that the ones I get at WalMart. The only drawback I see to it is the large footprint-it takes up a lot of room.
