I think we'd need a whole separate thread to discuss that. I have been wondering the same thing. I didn't even inject and it was easily one of the best briskets I've ever cooked.
I'm going to try one hot-n-fast at my first competition this year. Who knows, I might land at "medium-n-quick" where I cook at about 300* for 8 hours. :-)
