Anybody have the new splashproof Thermapen?

I was just about to order the Thermapen on sale at $74 and they have a new page up today for a new splashproof model. They are still preordering for june delivery. I read somewhere else that a few people have been able to get one already. Does anybody here have it yet? And is it worth the extra bucks?
