Kevin, you posted that you've been cooking for 2 years. So you should have a fairly good grasp of cueing. Sooooo if you haven't had any problem until you started using this "cherry", ya think it might be the "cherry"?
Couple of possibilities....
#1 it ain't cherry
#2 you're using too much. Try chunks instead of logs.
