Sort of lost me on that one. Are you talking about because you cooked them on a gas unit? If so and you are looking to get some smoke flavor in the meat, just experiment with some different ways of burning a little bit of wood in your cooker. Maybe some wood chips or a small piece of wood close to your heat source.
