Forgive me for pointing out that, IMO, while it may be as bad as it can get, in the whole scheme of things it's really not bad.
There are forum members here who are dealing with things like the loss of their job, loved ones who are ill, family members risking their lives serving our armed forces in foreign countries, a depressed economy, and so on. We're talking about BBQ, and even more specifically, a board(or board members) elected by a membership, governing an activity most of us do as a hobby. As for those who make a living at it, what happens with KCBS probably won't have the slightest impact on their ability to generate revenue in the BBQ industry.
No one is going to lose a limb, or a loved one, or their livelyhood because the KCBS BOD situation is "as bad as it can get". So, if you're expecting an apology for people "sitting on the sideline", or "just not giving a chit", I think you're in for a long wait.
...but that's just my opinion.
